Mips®
Het MIPS BPS (Brain Protection System) is ontworpen om bescherming in helmen toe te voegen tegen de rotatiebeweging. De rotatiebeweging is een combinatie van rotatie-energie (hoeksnelheid) en rotatiekrachten (van hoekversnelling) die beide de hersenen beïnvloeden en het risico op kleine en ernstige hersenletsels vergroten. Van MIPS BPS is wetenschappelijk bewezen dat het rotatiebewegingen vermindert wanneer geïmplementeerd in een helm door rotatie-energieën en krachten die naar de hersenen worden overgebracht te absorberen en om te leiden.
